THE ENSONIQ CONNECTION / WINDOWS WORKSPACE
The character of your sampler. The space to explore it on your PC. Meet SampBridge: sample previews, waveforms and CHOPS for your next session.
Windows test build 0.6.17.12 · Original media stays read-only.
A LITTLE OLD SCHOOL. A LITTLE NEW POSSIBILITY.
A card full of sounds is a starting point.
Browse your Ensoniq media, listen to a phrase, explore its waveform and find the cuts that make it yours. SampBridge brings those PC-side tools together while keeping the original source untouched.
The world of The Robot Dance Corporation is the creative thread. The real machines, and the people making music with them, are the reason for the project.
02 / INSIDE THE WORKSPACE
Actual SampBridge windows, exactly as captured. Explore the provisional 0.6.17.12 gallery — no mock editor screens.

All captures come from the verified 0.6.17.12 Windows test build. They are provisional CI captures, not recordings from an Ensoniq sampler. View validation · Image provenance & hashes
03 / ONE PROJECT. THREE DIRECTIONS.
Start with the Sample Editor. Instrument and Sequence workspaces are the next chapters, with availability kept clear at every stage.
Explore waveforms, place exact CHOP markers and preview your zones. One Shot, Loop and Repeat, loop boundaries and CHOP/loop Undo and Redo are available in 0.6.17.12.
See the actual editorA future workspace for key mapping, layers, velocity and instrument parameters. Model-specific formats and native exports must be verified before compatibility is claimed.
No operational editor or authentic screenshot is available yet.
A planned PC-only space to arrange CHOPS and prepare a Sequence Sheet as a guide for playing on hardware. Arrangement playback, saving and MIDI recording are not available in this editor yet.
SampBridge sequences cannot be loaded directly into EPS/ASR instruments. No operational editor or screenshot yet.
04 / THE MACHINES BEHIND THE MUSIC
EPS, EPS-16+, ASR-10 and ASR-88 are the project's intended families. Each model, OS and feature needs its own evidence.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
Intended target. No model/OS hardware validation established.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
Rack variant, distinct from EPS-16 Plus Rack. Research only.
USER REPORTS / FAMILY SCOPE
The user reports read-only browsing, sample playback and CHOP editing on the EPS-16+ family. Keyboard and OS-specific qualification still needs its own record.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
Windows test hardware available. No rack-specific native compatibility is claimed.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
Intended target. Model and OS-specific tests remain necessary.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
A Catalina Intel test setup is available with Tom, subject to build feasibility. No Mac or hardware compatibility validated yet.
RESEARCH / NOT QUALIFIED
Independent validation required; ASR-10 results cannot be assumed to apply.
FEASIBILITY ONLY
Feasibility study only. No supported product or download is claimed.
Original Ensoniq cards and PhysicalDrive stay read-only. Editing works on memory or PC working copies. WRITE LAB remains locked; PC preparation is not a validated native instrument export.
UTILITIES / GOODIES — UNDER RESEARCH
Native blank disk images are planned separately for each model, sampler OS and medium. No images are available for download yet.
No factory folders will be invented. No samples, instruments, Waveboy effects, ROMs or protected OS files are included. Floppy images and SCSI / SCSI2SD / ZuluSCSI media require distinct instructions and validation.
Follow the Utilities research. Mirage remains a separate feasibility study.
05 / THE ROBOT DANCE CORPORATION PRESENTS
Music, movement and a robot with a personality of its own. The original intro belongs here — with its own artwork, its own rhythm and a play button you control.
Original robot, logo and splash artwork are also awaiting the source files. No substitute artwork is shown. This temporary prototype uses CSS neon framing until the approved original artwork can be committed.
06 / STILL IN THE LAB
SampBridge is an independent project in active development. Real-hardware behavior, safe data handling and honest test results guide what comes next.
Real DPI, multi-monitor behavior and audible output still need checks on the user's Windows PC. Automated tests alone do not establish hardware compatibility.
